We are coming up on the 10 year anniversary of one of the most beloved Magic: the Gathering sets of all time, Innistrad. With the release of the Innistrad: Midnight Hunt happening right around the same time, we’re feeling a little nostalgic. So, today we’re going to be looking at the most expensive cards in original Innistrad.
10. Rooftop Storm
Number 10 on our list is Rooftop Storm. This card gained some popularity in commander, but with the release of Adventures in the Forgotten Realms this card became a hot commodity. This card creates a cheeky combo with Acererak the Archlich for Modern.
9. Grimgrin, Corpse-Born
Next up is Grimgrin, Corpse-Born. This is another commander specific pick. This one is a pretty popular Zombies commander, and got a lot of great support from Midnight Hunt.
8. Olivia Voldaren
Number 8 is Olivia Voladren. Once again, we have another popular commander, this time for the Vampire Tribe. I expect that this may go up in price when Innistrad: Crimson Vow releases later this year, so it might be worth picking up.

. This rare spiked up in price when it was clear that we were getting a Werewolf commander in Tovolar, Dire Overlord. I don’t expect that this is going to up much, but if you’re playing Werewolves in Commander, definitely pick this up!
6. Endless Ranks of the Dead
Endless Ranks of the Dead takes the number 6 spot. While this was reprinted in the Undead Unleashed Commander Precon, the original version of the card still holds a decently high price point. If you’re looking for upgrades for that deck, also check out our suggestions here!
5. Bloodline Keeper
Our number 5 pick is Bloodline Keeper. Another popular Vampire commander card, this only has been printed 2 times, once in original Innistrad, and in a From the Vault. I expect that this is going to go up a bit more when Crimson Vow comes out, so get this now!

. This powerful enchantment has spiked in price earlier this year, but is on a steady downtick, so if you can hold off, it might be worth waiting for this to drop a little more in price.

When this creature enters, target instant or sorcery card in your graveyard gains flashback until end of turn. The flashback cost is equal to its mana cost. (You may cast that card from your graveyard for its flashback cost. Then exile it.)
. This is the first card that hasn’t been dictated by Commander. This is a powerhouse in nearly every format it’s legal in. Recently seeing a spike back up, it had an unusual fall in price last year, but it’s back to where it was. With paper play returning, it might be worth picking these up to play in Modern events.

−6: Separate all permanents target player controls into two piles. That player sacrifices all permanents in the pile of their choice.
. This one is one of the strongest planeswalkers ever made, and finds homes in decks across formats like Modern and Legacy. This has always been an expensive card, topping out around $120, but now it sits between $90-$100.
