One of the best things about Magic: the Gathering is the art. Wizards of the Coast spares no expense when it comes to making sure that their cards get some incredible pieces. Magic‘s most recent set, Innistrad: Crimson Vow had some great art in it and so today we’re going to list off our Top 10 for the best art from the set. This list is going to include all variations of art done for the set, including the Fang Frame Showcase arts, and the Dracula Series Arts as well.
10. Lightning Wolf

Number 10 on the list is
Lightning Wolf
Lightning Wolf
{1}{R}: This creature gains first strike until end of turn. Activate only as a sorcery.
. While there isn’t any extravagant landscapes or anything here, you can’t deny this good boy. While yes there’s plenty of wolves in this set, Lightning Wolf just hits a bit different.
9. Mischievous Catgeist

Number 9 on our list, and in a similar vein to Lightning Wolf, is Michievous Catgeist. Nothing is more adorable than a kitten playing with string, and the only reason it’s higher on the list is because I’m a cat person.
8. Grolnok, the Omnivore

Next up we have
Grolnok, the Omnivore

Whenever a permanent card is put into your graveyard from your library, exile it with a croak counter on it.
You may play lands and cast spells from among cards you own in exile with croak counters on them.
. It’s rare that we see a Frog in Magic, and this art is pretty awesome. You can tell that he’s the king of his swamp and he means business. Just look at that little arm sticking out of his mouth!
7. Demonic Bargain

Next up we have
Demonic Bargain

6. Thalia, Guardian of Thraben

Number 6 on our list is the reprint of
Thalia, Guardian of Thraben

Noncreature spells cost {1} more to cast.
. One of the most hype cards in the set really got a glow up, showcasing her almost Knightly-ness, and the art really encapsulates the dark aesthetic of the world better than it ever has.
5. Voldaren Estate (Castle Dracula)

Our first “Dracula Series” card, and Buy a Box Promo for the set is
Voldaren Estate

{T}, Pay 1 life: Add one mana of any color. Spend this mana only to cast a Vampire spell.
{5}, {T}: Create a Blood token. This ability costs {1} less to activate for each Vampire you control. (It's an artifact with "{1}, {T}, Discard a card, Sacrifice this token: Draw a card.")
but with the art of Castle Dracula. This is all about the landscape, and you really can get a sense of the grandness of the world and mansion through this stunning piece.

by Ayami Kojima. Kojima is a world renowned artist, most notably being an artist for Castlevania, and WotC couldn’t have nailed this any more. Getting one of the most legendary vampire artists to create a piece for our boy Sorin is a massive win, and well deserved.
