One of the best starter Commanders has to be Sythis, Harvest’s Hand. ONe of the reasons for that is that they’re not innately about creatures, which is a fun way to break the standard early decks many of us build. Playing with unusual permanent types is fun. We say unusual, in essence, what we mean here is things that aren’t creatures.
One of the other things that makes Sythis, one of the best starter Commanders is her color identity and abilities too. Being able to avoid a few board wipes is a huge win too, because there aren’t as many players who pack enchantment removal in their decks as standard.
Meet your commander

Sythis, Harvest’s Hand

You can take the deck in a few different ways, like trying to control tempo by stopping people attacking you, making sure that you’ve got heaps of resilience because of the card type you’re playing, or just being aggressive by utilising synergies that make your creatures hard to beat. It’s all good fun, and while you can certainly choose to take it anyway you want to, we’ve tried to find the cards that’ll fit the deck no matter what.
So, onto the card suggestions.

The best creatures for Sythis

First up we’ve got all of the creatures that let you draw cards every time you cast your enchantments. These are
Eidolon of Blossoms

Outside of that, we adore
Katilda, Dawnhart Martyr

Katilda's power and toughness are each equal to the number of permanents you control that are Spirits and/or enchantments.
Disturb {3}{W}{W} (You may cast this card from your graveyard transformed for its disturb cost.)
because they become an obscenely large threat very quickly in this style of deck, and they have lifelink too. Plus, you can bring them back from the dead as an enchantment to grant those same buffs to another creature of your choosing.
Our last two choices for this section are
Destiny Spinner

{3}{G}: Target land you control becomes an X/X Elemental creature with trample and haste until end of turn, where X is the number of enchantments you control. It's still a land.
and
Sanctum Weaver

The best support cards for Sythis

Shockingly, a lot of the best support cards for this deck are going to be enchantments themselves.
Sphere of Safety

You’ve then got
Hallowed Haunting

Whenever you cast an enchantment spell, create a white Spirit Cleric creature token with "This token's power and toughness are each equal to the number of Spirits you control."
and
Sigil of the Empty Throne

Enchanted creature is an Insect artifact creature with base power and toughness 0/1 and has indestructible, and it loses all other abilities, card types, and creature types.
, a two-mana card that turns an enemy commander into a 0/1 with no abilities. It can do other stuff too, but that’s what it’s good at.
Our final pick is
Open the Vaults
