In the world of Dungeons & Dragons, one of the most things that players resonate the most with is the monsters! There’s a deep bag of creatures in the game and with Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate in preview season, we expect to see some of them. Where there’s a couple of cuddle creatures that were previewed that may look nice, but they’re scary once they’re in a game!
2 Cuties!
So we have a couple cute lookin’ creature to talk about today. Let’s meet them!

First up, we have the ever famous
Owlbear Cub

Right away, you could definitely throw the Owlbear Cub into
Ayula, Queen Among Bears

• Put two +1/+1 counters on target Bear.
• Target Bear you control fights target creature you don't control.
for Bear tribal. But Owlbear Cub also fits really nicely into just any bog standard green based creature deck. Often times, those decks aim to cheat big threats into play, and this could be another fantastic addition there.

Displacer Kitten

Now as it pertains to
Displacer Kitten

Just to name a few, some of the top blink decks are
Brago, King Eternal

Whenever Brago deals combat damage to a player, exile any number of target nonland permanents you control, then return those cards to the battlefield under their owner's control.
,
Roon of the Hidden Realm

{2}, {T}: Exile another target creature. Return that card to the battlefield under its owner's control at the beginning of the next end step.
, and
Yorion, Sky Nomad

Flying
When Yorion enters, exile any number of other nonland permanents you own and control. Return those cards to the battlefield at the beginning of the next end step.
. Each of these have been the heads of the Blink archetype for a while. With each of these, we want a mix of really great enters the battlefield / leaves the battlefield effects and blink effects and Displacer Kitten fits the mold.
