MTG Designer Confirms More Bonus Sheets Amidst Quality Decline
The Avatar: The Last Airbender Source Material bonus sheet has been rather controversial, to say the least. The choice of artwork, or rather the use of screenshots from the show, has drawn immense criticism from MTG players. Despite the rather odd flavor of this bonus sheet, it’s hard to argue with the value on display. […]

New Soon-To-Be Staple MTG Lessons Offer Insane Value for Cheap
The Lesson cards in Avatar: The Last Airbender are a bit of a weird lot. Unlike this mechanic’s original appearance in Strixhaven: School of Mages, Avatar doesn’t have any Learn cards. Due to this, the new MTG Avatar Lessons can’t be pulled out of the sideboard in Limited or Standard. While this is a massive […]
New Avatar Secret Lairs Show Off $34 Commander All-Star Reprint
Last week, we got a glimpse at the new “My Cabbages!” Secret Lair, one of the most flavorful Secret Lairs we’ve seen in quite some time. Curiously, much like MTG Spider Man, the Avatar: The Last Airbender set hasn’t made huge financial waves so far. We saw some price spikes following the set’s first look, but since then it’s been surprisingly quiet. Even the new competitive and Commander staples that have been spoiled haven’t moved the market. Despite this seemingly poor […]

Despite having a bunch of incredible staples show up last week, we’re still getting more powerful cards, like an incredible new combo hatepiece. For the Commander folk out there, the last of Avatar’s […]
Incredible Avatar Legend is the Ultimate Anti-Combo Card
Over the years, a variety of different creatures that punish players for casting specific types of spells have made an impact on the competitive scene. From Thalia, Guardian of Thraben‘s taxing ability to Eidolon of the Great Revel‘s brutal trigger, these threats showcase that even symmetrical effects can be abused in the right deck. Now, […]
