Forgotten Sacrifice Synergy Sees Price Spike Thanks to Universes Beyond Shark
Over the past two months, we have been getting absolutely bombarded with Universes Beyond previews. In addition to all of the spoilers from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Avatar sets, Wizards also released a boatload of Secret Lairs that each emphasize a thematic crossover. Many of these products featured exciting mechanically unique legends that […]
MTG Experience Voltron Card Sees 416% Price Spike Due to PlayStation Commander
Despite Avatar: The Last Airbender having been fully revealed, it’s clear that the set isn’t yet significantly influencing the secondary market. So much new MTG product is hitting the scene so quickly that players are still picking up cards for the last product that was released. The PlayStation Secret Lair Superdrop is still driving a […]
19-Year Old MTG Uncommon Skyrockets in Price Thanks to New Combo
Thanks to the massive amount of new cards being released every year, it’s not uncommon for cards from decades ago to suddenly rise in price. Freshly spoiled Commanders or newly crowned competitive staples can give rise to the most bizarre synergies with cards that have otherwise been relatively useless. That’s exactly what happened to Claws […]
Awful Reprint Value Ruins Controversial PlayStation Bonus Cards
For all the grief that the recent MTG Secret Lair sales have been causing, the PlayStation Superdrop wasn’t as bad as expected. Despite every single Secret Lair having a mechanically unique card attached, only the Ghost of Yotei Secret Lair sold out quickly. Even though the Horizons Secret Lair drop had a $40 reprint, the […]

Lorwyn Legend Spikes 229% Thanks to Secret Lair Commander
The 2026 MTG release calendar might be absolutely stacked, but there’s no beating Lorwyn Eclipsed. Since 2023, a return to Lorwyn has been in insanely high demand, and at long last, it’s finally happening in January. Rather fittingly, one of the iconic legends from the original Lorwyn block has actually been spiking in price recently. […]
Underplayed MTG Ritual Sees 375% Spike After cEDH Breakout
While Avatar: The Last Airbender’s spoiler season has been filled with competitive and Commander delights, the set’s financial impact has been rather muted. Outside of Toph, the First Metalbender, who caused multiple price spikes following Avatar’s First Look, things have been surprisingly quiet. That doesn’t mean that the wide world of MTG finance has been […]

New MTG PlayStation Commander Causes 270% Ninja Price Spike
Curiously, much like MTG Spider Man, the Avatar: The Last Airbender set hasn’t made huge financial waves so far. We saw some price spikes following the set’s first look, but since then it’s been surprisingly quiet. Even the new competitive and Commander staples that have been spoiled haven’t moved the market. Despite this seemingly poor […]
